However, some clients have expressed disappointment with the clinic's recent decision to charge an additional fee for providing a cherished memento, such as a plaster cast of a pet's footprint, during the euthanasia process, which was previously provided at no extra cost.
First time needing emergency services for my Lillys eye problem the staff & Dr. Howe were great & gentle handing my baby springer spaniel. Many thanks she is recovering & getting better every day.
We have been with this vet foe many years, and have been satisfied with the care that we received from them. In years past they put a beloved dog to sleep for us and several weeks later they sent a small plaster cast of his footprint with a single rose. It was cherished and very appreciated. Today we once again needed that service for our cherished Bichon. a after spending $150 for euthanasia I requested a gain to have a foot print casted, and was told that they could do it for an additional $60. I am saddened that they have become so mercenary that they would sell a bit of comfort. I don't believe that I can go back to them for pet care.again if 10 years of history is not valued with the compassion that used to be their standard.
This Vet office is the best I found in Hot Springs. All of the staff are so nice, and pet loving people. Dr. Bell calls to discuss your pet's health, and findings. I may have to drive further to get my two girls there, but it's worth it!
