He has been instrumental in detecting and treating various health issues, including colon polyps and cancer, ensuring his patients receive the best possible care. The staff at the GI Center, including the nurses, have also been described as amazing and supportive, creating a positive and calming environment for patients.
My daughter had an endoscopy at the GI center with Dr Ramos!!! He was awesome and explained everything in detail. EVERYONE at the GI center was top notch. Our main nurse was Heather and she was an absolute sweetheart and made our daughter feel so much at ease🩷
Dr Ramos is one of the most caring and compassionate physicians I have ever met in Marion county. He has been caring for me for years and sometimes I don't see him for 5 years at a time yet he always remembered who I am and is always gentle and kind. He has saved my life several times doing colonoscopies and getting rid of my polyps. My mom had colon cancer and thanks to Dr Ramos I can say I have not had colon cancer but I have had pre cancer cells and he has taken the best care of me.
Dr. Ramos not only found cancer in my stomach but he insisted I follow up at Moffitt Cancer Center. I had a difficult surgery which I am grateful for Dr. Ramos insisting I go to Moffitt.
