The unbelievable incompetence and gall of the people at Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct. They came out to replace the UV light in my AC blower and after they left the AC no longer worked. I contacted them only 30 minutes after they left but they refused to come back and resolve the issue. I contacted the office, but Jose spent most of the time telling me they were blameless and will not pay for resolution. He didn't care when I informed him there were special needs people in the home and the AC was vital. The AC worked before they arrived and did not work after they left. Scheduled a dryer vent cleaning that was quoted at ~$300. Already a bit higher than other services, but they had the availability that met my schedule. Showed up and said it'd be an extra $200 because they had to get on the roof to complete the cleaning. Over $500 to clean a single vent! Ridiculous.Stanley Steemer, who we've used in the past, only charges $195 for this entire job.

Scheduled an appointment with Sears for duct cleaning at my Florida condo, the technicians showed up and told me that we will do a air quality test before we proceed. They performed the test then the technician starts his speech that it does not look good and that there is treatment to resolve the issue but it’s expensive. So he says give me a few minutes to give you the quote, he then comes out with a price of $1450.. for a bacterial treatment. Bottom line he said that we will not clean the ducts unless I do the treatment. What a bunch of scammers who give a bad reputation to a company that has been around for over 50 years
