About Warm Mineral Springs Park

Warm Mineral Springs Park is a unique and historic destination that attracts over 100,000 visitors annually. The park features a natural warm spring with a consistent temperature of 85 degrees year-round, known for its therapeutic and purported healing qualities. The spring is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, along with the surrounding buildings. Visitors can soak in the waters, which have anaerobic and highly mineralized properties. The park provides chairs, shade from trees, and restrooms, including a wheelchair accessible temporary trailer restroom. There are plenty of picnic tables in the picnic area, making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. While some visitors find the facilities to be run down, the park's mystical atmosphere and intriguing lore make for a unique experience. Many visitors feel a sense of wellness after experiencing the water, and appreciate the effort of the staff to keep the park maintained. The space is beautiful, with lush areas and a peaceful environment. In the past, visitors enjoyed the mud, which they could rub on their bodies and wash off in the water, leaving their skin feeling beautiful and exhilarating. Bags of mud were once sold to take home, and occasional tarpons appeared in the spring. Although the mud is no longer available, the water remains wonderful, and the park continues to be a special place for passive recreation. With a ticket price of $15, visitors can enjoy the natural springs and the park’s calming atmosphere, making it a memorable experience.

I recently visited Warm Mineral Springs Park and had a mixed experience. The springs themselves are beautiful and truly relaxing — especially in the morning hours. The mineral water feels amazing, and for a while it was exactly the peaceful, stress-free environment I was hoping for.

However, by early afternoon (around 1 PM), the atmosphere changed quite a bit as many families arrived with young children and babies. While I absolutely adore children, the springs feel more like a place designed for quiet relaxation and therapeutic soaking rather than a busy, high-energy environment.

For $20 admission, I personally was hoping for a consistently calm experience...read full review

$20 bucks to get in, the water was cold not even close to warm. The parking situation is horrible with people parking themselves which led to triple parking where people could not even get out to leave. The lifeguard equipment was sub-par with the floatation device outer covering peeling away so bad you could see 7-8 inches of foam. The up keep seems to take a back seat. It is true old Florida style, and even a bit charming. However it could been seen as run down.
