I cannot say enough positive remarks about Rob and his customer service. Friday morning, 7 am, my screen went black. I began searching for computer repair places and calling them from my house phone - obviously none were open that early. I started calling again from my cell about 8:30 and got in touch with Freedom Computers. I explained the situation and Rob agreed with my fear that my hard drive was going out. He quoted me a very reasonable rate for the new hard drive, the labour, as well as the salvaging of my files from my old hard drive. And he could have it done same day! (I cannot even call his rates "competitive" as I don't know the going rate, but I would have paid more to do it myself and went half mad in the process!) While getting ready to leave, he called my house phone. I explained I was the same person he had just spoken to but it was just my house vs cell number. I'd not left a message from my house phone or anything, he had just seen a missed call and decided to follow up. Not a SINGLE other company I'd called that morning did that - perhaps they don't need customers? After a few hours of assessing my computer, Rob informed me due to the amount of data on my old hard drive, he could salvage it but it would take a little while longer than he expected to move 750gigs of data over. We planned for me to get it instead Saturday morning. Friday evening he called back to let me know as he was making sure it was set to go, a fan was going out on the video card. He'd stop and get one in the morning and just bring the computer to me - an hour drive! No delivery fee. Once here, he found that the shop had given him the wrong card, he went back to get the right one, and made the long haul out again. And he stayed here until everything was confirmed up and running. His labour rate never changed from his initial quote, despite the several hours of unanticipated labour it took to get my computer up and going. Again, I cannot say enough about how this is the company and man to go to for computer service and customer service. Thank you Rob, as well as a thank you for your military service to our country.
