No one takes the time to think about what the lack of a simple luxury like a shower can signify until you don’t have it. Deprivation makes some grateful and wise when what we desire and are used to is somehow taken away from us. This is what happened to us on Thursday, July 22, 2021. A most uncanny occurrence took place in our garage in the electric panel box. It caught fire and that fire took everything in its pathway : breakers and wires were burned and melted. Luckily, it didn’t take the house ! My husband and I were very fortunate not to be victims of the fire that ensued and which my husband was able to extinguish, but then….. there was no electricity. Try to find an electrician on a Friday who is not swamped with work for months. Try to find a hotel during a weekend with youth baseball taking hotel rooms. The situation appeared to be insurmountable. And then I fell upon Hines Electrical and Communications, Inc out of Newberry, Fl.- spoke with a certain John Rushworth, who said he felt for me when I told him the story. I thought they were just words. He said we’ll help you and won’t let you down. He sent Patrick over to see the damages, and while quite shocked to see a complete electrical box burned out said that they would get to work immediately, and they did. Several more arrived on the scene with a total of close to 5-6 electricians : real electricians !! They worked like beavers. I have NEVER experienced such expertise and thoroughness in a job in my life ; a true pleasure ! In about 3 ½ hours, we had a new electric panel installed only awaiting the hook-up by the electricity company. When the hook-up finally took place, one of the technicians, Jason, from Hines came out to verify the installation. This was already at 7/7:30pm at night. If all businesses were run this way, we would take the blue ribbon to everything ! Me and my husband are truly pleased and impressed and wish to express our sincere satisfaction to John and his crew here today. Thank you to all !
Had John and Patrick out to my house to put in a new 240 (might be 220 I’m not sure) plug for a hot tub. Very professional with great senses of humor. Quick to complete the job and didn’t leave a mess either. Bonus all the way around. I highly recommend them.
