Volusia Medical Center is praised for providing excellent service and care. Patients appreciate the kindness, respect, and dignity they receive from the staff, as well as the quick and efficient service. The providers are commended for their attentiveness, patience, and willingness to listen to concerns. The front desk team and the appointment scheduler are also highly regarded for their friendliness, competence, and cheerfulness. Although provider turnover can be high, patients have positive experiences and appreciate the options and plans developed in partnership with the providers. The cleanliness of the office and the smooth handling of referrals and medication are additional highlights of the center. Patients are happy with their experience, able to get appointments with late evening and Saturdays available. They never felt rushed and felt listened to. However, one negative experience with a provider was described as blatant, unprofessional, and borderline aggressive, with a young woman going ABOVE AND BEYOND to make a child's experience joyful.
Just taking a moment to thank the staff for their continued great job. Dr. Black is a valuable asset to them and I appreciate her focus on my health and well being.
Demi, the ARPN is great! She relates well to younger people and that helps to ease anxiety if a child is uptight about going to the doctor. They seem to care about the health and don't consider you just a number.
