“We have been customers of Scope Pest Services for more than 20 years. We started with their once-a-year whole-home pest control service and later added their Florida-specific termite treatment. We have been very pleased with the results. In all fairness, I have to say that the bugs have been less pleased with their service.<br><br>Scope’s approach involves much more than simply spraying “magic bug juice” around the house and hoping for the best. Their technicians inspect the property, identify the pests common to the home and surrounding neighborhood, and develop a detailed treatment plan designed to keep the house pest-free year-round.<br><br>One problem that seemed almost impossible to solve was a recurring millipede infestation in our yard. I initially asked our lawn insect-control company to handle them, but they told me they didn't treat millipedes.<br><br>The real problem was our swimming pool. The millipedes were attracted to the area, somehow got underneath the pool screen, and eventually ended up in the water. Unfortunately for them—and for us—we quickly discovered that millipedes cannot swim. At times, we would find hundreds of them on the bottom of the pool.<br><br>Scope took the problem seriously, researched it, and located a dry insecticide specifically suited for controlling millipedes around the property. It worked.<br><br>The good news is that our many-legged visitors appear to have found somewhere else to live. After dealing with this problem year after year, that alone says a great deal about Scope’s willingness to go beyond routine pest control and actually find a solution.”
