(clears throat) I scheduled an eye exam for my 8 year old for 9 am at the Eyeglass World in Carrollwood. We arrived before the Administrative Assistant for the Optometrist did. Once she arrived at approximately 9:10 am, she did not acknowledge us. I handed in the registration packet and was called up approximately 10 minutes after and questioned about my daughter's vision insurance. Once I confirmed, what was listed and presented on her Vision ID card, I rejoined my daughter in the waiting area. 3 stars because the staff are friendly. But they refused to give me my contacts prescription unless I showed them I could put in the contacts and take them out, and that doesn’t make sense to me since I’m an adult who paid for a contacts prescription.

Double charge for service. After my second eyes check in Eyes Glass World on Dale Mabry , Golf Coast charge to my new insurance and weeks later was trying to charge to my older insurance. Sending letters now to charge again. Be careful with this white collar thieves. Shame on Eye Glass World to use this service.
