I can’t say enough good things about this Animal hospital. The staff from the front desk (and back office), nursing care and doctors are amazing. Always doing great work and make it look easy and seamless! They have been nothing but compassionate and caring since I first walked in and met Dr. Griffin.(amazing human that man is) When I have needed urgent care, they were there when they could be. When they couldn’t see my pup they were compassionate and caring still and I didn’t feel ignored. They sent flowers, a dish garden when our youngest pup passed and I still have them on my counter thriving over a year later- it’s a great reminder of compassion and of my sweet Eleanor. I talk a lot, have dogs who aren’t always star patients and we love the staff to pieces for putting up with all of us! As a CVT I can be an awful client!) 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband was the turtle man. We sold turtles for many years in the Tampa Bay area and Dr Maldonado was our vet for our turtles and our iguana. I cannot say enough how great he was with these exotic pets. Our iguana had many issues and she would get egg bound and need x-rays And shots to help her get the eggs out. Dr Maldonado was fantastic with her. I highly recommend him. My husband passed away eight years ago and we had to close the business a couple months before he passed. He loved loved loved his turtles and his customers. He always said if he won the lottery, he would still keep his business because he loved visiting with his customers.
I cannot say enough positive things about Animal Care Center of Pasco County, especially Dr. Maldonado. My chinchilla was on the verge of death. The exotic vet at my practice has left and no one was seeing new patients, including Dr. Maldonado. When I explained the situation (in complete tears because this was life and death), Dr Maldonado agreed to see my chinchilla the following day. The staff was so welcoming and friendly upon our arrival. We were rushed into a room and seen so quickly. It took several weeks and a few appointments to finally figure out what was wrong (after she passed a blockage), but Dr. Maldonado kept in contact, returned every phone call, even after hours when he realized he had forgotten. Without him I don’t think Posie would be here. We are forever grateful and cannot thank him enough.
