The program involves intensive group sessions and personal work to help individuals overcome negative thoughts and foster lasting recovery. I met some of the most incredible people here. The staff, clinicians, food, guest speakers and everyone on-site were very kind. I found the Holy Spirit to be very present at Sanctuary as well.
Is it perfect, no. But no place is or will be. I do reccomend Sanctuary Clincs soley because of the staff, clinicians, and guest speakers. I cannot say I would reccomend it because of the owner and the disrespect I feel he had for my husband and I. (There are two sides to every story). But I can recognize the good hes done for my fellow friends at Sanctuary. But the good definitely outweighed the bad in my experience.
I was deep in depression, anxiety, and the street life. Alongside a strong drug and sex addiction. I knew I needed help, but it’s looked at as “weak” in Black Culture. My Mom prayed for a solution because she could see the darkness and pain in my eyes. She showed me Sanctuary’s website.
I then came here for ONLY 30 days of treatment on just the knowledge of I could have my cell phone and could vape during the rehabilitation process. My third weekend I attended their “Marked Men For Christ” weekend, which was an intensive and life changing experience. That motivated me to do another 30 days, and then another 30 days.

Sanctuary was very helpful for me I went there will very bad anxiety wouldn't do anything it was that bad and a few other things that I won't share but they helped me a lot with getting to a point where it can't control me anymore. They are extremely welcoming and the scenery is top ten of my experience but I'd say the staff and counselors where tied with the community for 1st. I met a lot of people heard a lot of stories and seen a lot of healing during the time I had been there and I appreciate all of it.
