At first, I like this office until I needed the doctor to write a strong letter to my insurance company. I understand getting an approval from insurance companies are difficult at times. This office was not willing to write a letter that would explain my needs. The prescription he was willing to give me will mean nothing unless it was supported by a letter stating his reasoning. I believe he just no longer cared enough to help me as I felt was needed.

The best doctor I've ever seen! Dr.Espinal is kind, knowledgeable and thorough. She took her time answering all my questions, gave me great advice and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone.

I'm very torn about this review. I have been a patient of doctor Espinal for over 2 years and I absolutely love her!!!! BUT (that's a very big but) I cannot even begin to wrap my head the staff that she has that handles the back end. Now Dr. Espinal delivered my son 5 months ago and she was amazing.... circumcision and all. She is very good at her job and very direct. She did what was needed to save my baby's life when the time came. Dr. Espinal is the only doctor here, so no midwife no possibility of someone else delivering your baby unless she's on vacay which she will certainly vocalize. Must be the Dominican in her! Lol As far as her staff.... Myra is amazing. She is the one that takes your weight and urine... but I am not sure who the incompetent person doing the billing. They charged me CASH for my sons circumcision even though it was covered 100% by my insurance. Then I was told that it was because it's their policy to bill as outpatient instead of inpatient (while in he hospital) that's ILLEGAL! I work for a health insurance company so I'm fighting for my money back. Only reason why I paid it's because I wanted it done asap while he was still in the NICU. Another incident was a service that the doctor recommended and needed authorization from my insurance. The office proceeded to obtain authorization and called me back to schedule my appointments. When I asked what I was financially responsible for, they simply stated my copay. Lo and behold I get a bill 4 months later for my 1200 deductible. Oh no! 2 years later I'm still disputing that. Again the doctor is incredible but the staff....horrible!
