Getting Lasik surgery was one of the best, if not the best, decision I ever made. I went from being a daily glasses or contacts wearer, to having 20/15 vision overnight. Yes, better than 20/20. It’s unbelievable. I’ll start with my consultation, as the staff was very friendly and welcoming with walking me through the different tests. After confirming I was a good candidate, they then explained to me what the surgery would be like and then I met with Dr. Karp where he reassured me how easy the process was and how great I would see after. We went ahead and scheduled my procedure. The day of my procedure was also a breeze. I kid you not, the entire surgery was about 3 minutes long. At least that’s what it felt like. Dr. Karp performed the surgery with ease and made the entire experience great for me. It was quick, it didn’t hurt at all, and having Heather counting down made it very calm and relaxing. I came home and rested my eyes for a few hours, but when I woke up, let me tell you, it was a whole new world. I could see EVERYTHING! The day after the appointment was handled by Dr. Fuentes. She was so amazing to deal with. Very professional, polite, and made sure my eyes were healing properly. This is when I took another eye test and found out I was now seeing 20/15. Literally one day after my surgery. I can’t stress how incredible that felt. Today was my one week follow up to my surgery. I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Fuentes again. After evaluating my eyes, she confirmed everything has healed up perfectly and I am still seeing 20/15. All in all, this was well worth it. It has literally changed my life!
