I am currently working to prepare to build a home on a quarter acre I own. The builder I'm going with basically threw EVERYTHING on my shoulders with regards to the prep work, as they are ONLY responsible for the foundation and actual house (they say it keeps their costs down?) But, I digress...I began to call around for quotes for various land clearing companies. Of the few I contacted ( I won't mention names...unless you, the reader, ask nicely), one of them told me..point blank..that they wouldn't touch my lot because it was 'too small.'
