I am 3 weeks post Umbilical Hernia surgery. I went to him because my friend who is a Nephrologist and My friend who works in anesthesia who worked directly with him recommended Dr. Talbert. They were right on. He doesn’t sugar coat it. He tells you exactly what will happen how you will feel and what you need to do before and especially after. He is a great surgeon. He told me I would be very sore 3-4 days after it was only 2 days fortunatley and very manageable and I do not have a high pain tolerance. Pain pills only 2 days and could’ve probably done without. Dr. Talbert is a wonderful surgeon. He has an excellent bedside manner, no issues answering questions yet to the point. He completed a fistulectomy and hemmriodectomy for my husband. He is healing well and we are both thankful for his expertise and skill. His staff at both his office and surgery center were also wonderful. Highly recommend.
I was physically disabled for years because of misdiagnoses and being brushed off by numerous doctors. Dr Talbert was the first to make me feel listened to. He didn't know what was wrong with me at first either, but he didn't just send me away. We figured it out. He operated and fixed me and gave me my life back. I don't think he realizes how much of an impact he had on me. He was kind, polite, and his surgical skills were great too. The surgery itself went great, so did the recovery.
