“We wanted to replace our landscaping with Florida-Friendly plants and as many native Florida plants as possible. I visited Green Isle Gardens in Groveland and was impressed by its size, number of species, and their knowledgeable staff. Our request was a design to resemble as much as possible, the original mesic pine flatwoods plant association that was here before citrus and suburbia.

Jeremiah, their designer, presented a plan that we immediately liked. Native blueberry, a flatwoods plum, wild coffee, beautyberry, coontie, fakahatchee grass, Dade County pines, and lots of flatwoods herbaceous plants. He did not crowd the plants to create an “instant landscape” as many others do.

His crew was first rate. Jeremiah communicated with us frequently and the end result is outstanding. I recommend them highly. For a Florida-Friendly Landscape they are the real deal.“
