Marathon AC did the annual maintenance on my central a/c unit. When I called they said it was about $90 which was in line with a couple other companies I spoke with. They sent two guys and finished the job in a flash. When I got the bill it was for $158. They charged $120 for labor because of there being two guys. They should have told me before hand that because they were sending two guys there was no chance they could come in on estimate. This was surprise number one. The bill also included $30 for an algae strip. You can buy these strips all day long for $10 (cheaper by the case). They said nothing about this before hand. Surprise number two.
