We had a routine call for maintenance and the person they sent actually broke our unit and then they charged a ridiculous amount to fix it.

Called for a simple AC maintenance request and was told I would receive a call back in two days to schedule an appointment. Never heard back and it’s been >10 days. Disrespectful and unprofessional.

Marathon AC did the annual maintenance on my central a/c unit. When I called they said it was about $90 which was in line with a couple other companies I spoke with. They sent two guys and finished the job in a flash. When I got the bill it was for $158. They charged $120 for labor because of there being two guys. They should have told me before hand that because they were sending two guys there was no chance they could come in on estimate. This was surprise number one.
