About Madeira Bay Resort
Madeira Bay Resort is a great place with a perfect location. The surroundings are beautiful, with white beaches and clear water. The food and wine are excellent, and the desserts are very good. The resort is suitable for an older crowd, and guests are treated with respect. The area is safe and easy to explore, with streets, sidewalks, and nature trails nearby. There are many activities around, including art galleries, historical buildings, parks, tours, and wine tastings. The condos are spacious, clean, and well decorated, with comfortable beds and fantastic gulf views. Guests can enjoy exploring the beach, snorkeling on the sandbar, building sandcastles, and renting jet skis or going on pirate ship cruises. The location is walkable, with Johns pass just a short walk away, and the beach is only steps from the condos. The kitchens are fully stocked for making meals, and there are many restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance or a short drive. The staff is helpful and friendly, making sure guests have everything they need. Overall, Madeira Bay Resort offers a wonderful stay with plenty of space and activities, making it an ideal choice for a future visit.
Stayed with family for a long weekend.. 3bdrm condo on 3rd floor was nicely sized with Private elevator. My only complaint was it needs a deep cleaning. The baseboards look like they have not been cleaned or wiped in months. Especially in the bathroom. One bathroom the exhaust fan wasn’t working, the AC in the 3rd bedroom where the bunk beds are located didn’t blow from the vent making the room rather warm the kids were too hot to sleep in there & afraid to sleep in the bunk bed because it was rickety and didn’t seem very stable. I gave this resort three stars because I wish someone in the reviews had mentioned one important detail: if you have the choice, book the older building.
When we made our reservation, we had the option of staying in either the older building or the newer one. We traveled with several family members, and after seeing both, we all agreed that we would have chosen the older building if we had known the difference.
Although the rooms in the newer building were more updated, the rooms in the older building were noticeably larger despite being the same price. The older building also had multiple elevators, no door code required to enter the lobby, and much better...read full review
We just spent four nights here in unit 1704 on the beach side of the 7th floor in the South Tower for a long July 4th weekend and it was wonderful. The unit was very well kept and had everything you would need to enjoy your stay, and the area amenities made it an absolutely great weekend. You're just a very short walk from public beach access on 131st Ave directly across the street and the John's Pass area is right next door with just a short 5-8 minute walk to the heart of the board walk area, making it very convenient to access local shops, restaurants, bars, etc. We usually rent a car when traveling, but you absolutely don't need to do that here.
