Pope's has been servicing our well for over six years and has always provided outstanding service. Our well went out last night during the electrical storm. I called Pope's at 2:30 AM and someone answered the phone and took my information. I was amazed by that. First thing this morning Jesse called and said he was on his way over. By 9:15 he had the well up and running. Hard to find such outstanding customer support in today's world. Stop looking for another company to service your well. Pope's is the way to go!
A lightning strike left me without well water. Since Pope's was already closed, I called a company offering 24/7 service. Big mistake! They came after-hours and misdiagnosed my problem -- I believe intentionally. They initially tried to charge 9x more for a switch box and 4x more for a control box. Then said my pump was fried -- which was 60% more than I had paid Pope's 5 years earlier for a new bladder, re-piping, wiring, both boxes and a pump. The next day, Pope's came out. The pump was fine. The 18 year old pipes in our home had a buildup of sulphur bacteria, resulting in bad smelling water from our taps. Pope's disinfected our well casing, and provided instructions to run the disinfecting solution into the house pipes for treatment. After 24 hours, we flushed our plumbing and our tap water now has no odor. The cost was very reasonable. I will definitely call Pope's again if we need to repeat the process in a few years.
