Our pups have always been groomed at home by myself and my husband but we were getting SO tired of bath days. It was a whole day fiasco because the pups HATE having their nails trimmed. It takes both of us an hour each just for their nails. I was so nervous to try a groomer because of how hard of a time we have but we were getting so tired of doing it ourself. Decided to give Ava's a try today and called them up to see if they were available. They had an appointment open in an hour and we took it. We dropped them off and warned them about how long their nails may take. They gave us a 2 hour estimate and texted us in 1.5 hour. I was nervous that it didn't go well. When I got there, the ladies said they did really well and they had no issues and even said she overestimated the time. The pups left smelling SO good and even got cute little bandanas. Safe to say I am bringing them here every month now.

I took a chance on switching groomers and so glad that I did. Maegan did an excellent job on our sweet Onyx!! He came out looking and smelling fantastic!!! First off, she kneeled down to intro herself and by the way she rubbed him, she was checking out his hair to build a profile. She didn’t grab his leash and rush to the back. She engaged with him and then she LISTENED! 🥹 We’ve been in FL now almost two years and prior to that we lived in MO. We went through countless groomers and he was poodled, shaved and all. It was a struggle to know what to ask for. Now I only work with folks who absolutely can groom a Doodle properly. And these ladies have it down to a science. 🥰 What’s crazy is that I saw Ava’s a few months ago in route to his regular grooming appointment. Our youngest daughter is looking for a part time job and asked me about them which prompted me to call. In the meantime they were able to get him in yesterday for a mini-groom. And he came out looking like new money!!! He was strutting all through the house and up and down the sidewalk yesterday. Thank you again and we’ll see you soon!
