About Back To Basics Barbershop
Back To Basics Barbershop is a great destination for a top-notch haircut experience. The barbers are incredibly skilled, fast, and friendly, making the experience enjoyable and relaxing. Barber Brian, in particular, is noted for his attention to detail and friendly demeanor, receiving high praise for his awesome trims and line-ups. The shop has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a family-style environment where barbers and customers interact and chat while getting their haircuts. Located right off 427 (Ronald Raven) in a historic building across from downtown Longwood, the barbershop is small but popular, often busy with customers. Waiting times are typically short, around 15-20 minutes, making it a convenient stop for anyone looking for a quality haircut. Although some find the prices a bit high, they understand that rent in such a historic area can be expensive. Making an appointment might be a good idea to avoid any wait. With its talented barbers and friendly vibe, Back To Basics Barbershop is highly recommended for anyone looking for a great haircut and a fun experience.
Kenny is one of those barbers who can do it all — fades, dreads, twists, line-ups, whatever you need, he’s got you. Always professional, takes his time, and makes sure you’re walking out clean every single time.
The shop itself — Back to Basics — is legit one of the best in the area. Elijah and Ollie have built a space with real barbershop energy: good conversation, good music, and everyone in there treats you like family. Whether you’re coming in for a fresh fade, a retwist, or even an old-school hot shave, they’ve got you covered.
If you want quality cuts and a chill atmosphere, this is the spot.
This was my second time coming here and my sons first time getting a hair cut here. Located right of 427 (Ronald Raven) this barbershop is located in a historic building across from historic downtown Longwood. The place Is small and seems to be popular, when we walked in all 4 barbers where busy cutting someone's hair, we proceeded to wait about 15-20 minutes with no hurry it went by fast. The gentleman that cut my son's hair were professional and pretty fast and did a good job. Price wise I think for a barber shop they are kind of expensive but nowadays everything is expensive, i know rent can be expensive specially in a historic building in Longwood. Making an appointment might be a good idea if you don't want to wait. I notice quit a few people walked in before my sons hair cut and after.
I am the most discerning customer and I took a chance on Brian a couple of days ago. Really glad I did. Brian is the real deal. Great attention to detail. Friendly atmosphere. I will be going back.
