I’ve always had straight hair (2nd pic) and wanted it to be a bit more wavy and fulller. I looked up Korean perm online which is a less aggressive form of perm but you need someone who knows this type of perm and men’s hair. I scheduled an appointment and the results were the 1st pic and have to say it was exactly what I wanted! I told her what I wanted and showed her some pics for reference and she understood exactly what I was asking for. Took about 1.5hrs or so and she even gave me a quick haircut before doing the perm. Sue is as amazing as all her reviews describe her as. Unfortunately my natural hair gets very frizzy….very, very, frizzy. My hair tends to represent the Polynesian Moana hair rather than the sleek Mulan hair I craved. I was tired of the constant upkeep which was damaging my hair (blowouts). I went to see Sue in person to make sure my hair qualified for Japanese hair straightening. When she gave me the thumbs up she was gracious enough to immediately fit me in her busy schedule (because I was leaving for a trip). OmGoody! I'm long overdue with this post. Sue is the absolute best and has been taking care of my hair for the past 2+ years.
I went searching for someone who would do a K-Perm men's style and you'll have a hard time finding one in Broward County or South Florida in general.
Worth the drive. Highly recommend. Book early, the appointments fill up fast!
