1.99 Cleaners is a business that has been serving Pasco County for over 10 years. They pride themselves on providing quality work at affordable prices. The business has two locations in Land O' Lakes and Lutz, and they use only the best machinery to get the job done. Some customers have had positive experiences with 1.99 Cleaners, citing excellent service and friendly staff. For example, one customer was impressed with the thorough inspection and honest expectation given by the owner Jason when cleaning a large, dirty mascot. The customer was thrilled with the outcome and would recommend the business to anyone. However, other customers have had issues with the business. One customer had a negative experience with a missing item, a high-quality trouser, which was never found or resolved despite multiple attempts to contact the business. The customer felt that the business delayed and failed to respond to their concerns, and they would advise others to be cautious when leaving valuable items with the business. Another customer mentioned that they have had some troubles with the business over the years, including a disappointing experience with a stained tuxedo shirt that they had brought in for cleaning. However, they still use the business and appreciate that it is a Christian organization.
Have been patronizing the Fletcher location for about the past 5 months, and have been more than satisfied with price, quality,and especially the location supervisor, who is awesome. (Note: shirt dry clean price just increased to $4.99 - about par with the area).On 2/6/23 I dropped off four shirts and one trouser. Approximately 8 days later, retrieved the order but trousers were missing. The missing article was a high quality, $18 cost to just to hem, employee uniform trouser. We have been coming here for years and always liked the service with no issues. Recently, the service has been terrible. They lose items, tell you something will be ready, but when picking up it’s not. I am not sure if ownership has changed, but our last 3 experiences have been terrible.Items not ready based on time given or coming and telling us they canfind items then taking days to fid them. We needed a very large, very dirty mascot cleaned and finding a cleaners to take it on was tough! We called $1.99 cleaners and the owner Jason was ready for the job and extremely helpful. When I brought it in he thoroughly inspected the entire mascot, described what he would need to do, and gave me an honest expectation for the outcome. It came out BEAUTIFUL!!
