I took a chance and took a vintage pokemon crystal game cartridge to have the battery changed. Game was no longer saving memory due to the battery being bad and being that the game is pricey to replace I took it to Techy. Although they didn't do the replacement work in store. The cartridge battery was replaced elsewhere associated with the store and is in working order. The game cartridge saves memory like a new game. Saved me a good amount of money from buying a new used replacement game.
