One of the best days I have ever had in my life. This place is incredible. I have to admit, I didnt care about the fort, I came for the beaches. The fort was definitely beautiful though. This is the bluest water i have ever seen in my life. It was pretty clear and I saw so many different fish. I didnt snorkel, I just went under with goggles, but I still saw so much. You will see so many hermit crabs too. The only mistake we made was not applying sunscreen enough and we were burnt to a crisp.

Yankee Freedom is VERY organized and guest satisfaction oriented. From check in to disembarking the ferry, all those going to Dry Tortugas were made to feel valued. Lots of information, but all knew what to do. The fort talk and following guided tour were excellent. Loved the frigate birds and I got a several photos of a peregrine falcon. Many enjoyed the beach and snorkeling. The water surrounding the fort is gorgeous and the fort itself is wonderful to see.
Awesome experience! Nice vessel, very organized and friendly crew. Nice service onboard as well. We went during Isaias hurricane, a little bumpy, but the kids loved the experience. Due to the climate, we couldn't snorkel, but the destination is a true paradise. Must visit!
