My husband and I were married by Marrying Sam in 1990 at the Hemingway House. I was a small wedding and we bought the bridal party outfits (Hawaiian shirts) at the local KMart (which is probably long gone). I am retired and thinking of a new career as a notary so that I can marry people here in the Orlando area. I can't think of a more fun and happy job!

Marrying Sam was wonderful. When we got married she was kind enough to meet us at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at midnight on a Sunday night. Our marriage license stated that we couldn't marry until Monday so she rode her scooter to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at midnight on Sunday night to marry us on the dancefloor. The band stopped playing and she preformed the ceremony with a bunch of strangers cheering us on. One of the band members video taped the event. We paid her and she left. It was so much fun. It couldn't have been any better. Yesterday we came back to Key West to celebrate our 10th anniversary and I called her to thank her again. What a nice lady.
