“I found Salon Council on Google. It was listed as one of the top 3 salons in Pembroke Pines. My hair was very long and had become severely matted due to a very long hospital stay. I decided to visit the Salon Council. Maria and Sonia looked at my seriously matted hair and told me they have worked on other women with similar issues, However, my case was their worst!!! Almost an impossible feat!!! I did not want to cut out the matting and knots ending up with short hair. I promised myself many, many years before I would grow my hair as long as possible in memory of my dearly beloved grandmother just as her hair was down her back. The ladies made no promises but would try their best to detangle my mess. All the stylists worked on my hair at one point throughout the process. Jari, Mia, Sonia and Maria ( I hope I did not forget anyone) worked a miracle on my head. My hair feels like a crown of beauty! I am so grateful for Maria’s and the ladies skills and creativity.“

I went for my first time around Christmas for a cut & style, service was so good I went back today for a blowout and curl set (Both w Smaily). My layers are fantastic and have boosted my confidence. I have a lot of hair and am always nervous going to the salon due to it being so time consuming and sometimes staff isn’t so nice, but Smaily does a great job and takes the time to actually blow out my hair whereas in my other experiences they just sit me under the hooded dryer w rollers for HOURS and eventually get to blowing it out (while complaining). Customer service & professionalism 10/10. Also shout out to the sweet lady who washed my hair I believe her name was Kira, she was so nice and accommodating :)“

Milan from Nova Makeup and Hair was seriously amazing during my daughter’s quince photo shoot! She did such a beautiful job—glam makeup that looked stunning but still so natural and perfect for a 15-year-old. My daughter kept saying “I love it!” when she saw herself, and honestly, I did too. The hair was just as flawless—precise, elegant, and Milan switched up the styles on the spot for each dress change without missing a beat. You could tell she’s done this a million times and really knows her craft.

But what touched me most was how sweet and easy to talk to Milan is. My daughter felt so relaxed in her chair—they were chatting, playing music, laughing the whole time. It turned what could have been a tense “get ready” moment into something fun and exciting. She was genuinely happy and comfortable the entire time, which made the whole day flow so much better.

Milan and Amanda from Angels in Lace work together like they’ve been a team forever—seamless, efficient, and always keeping the energy positive. Those big, intricate dresses? They handled changes like pros, no rushing, no stress, and everything looked perfect. Having an all-female team made a huge difference too—quick, comfortable, and no awkward moments with my teen daughter. Thanks to their coordination with Suzette at Couture Closet, the day was truly magical from start to finish.
