Nice group of staff. The yoga is nice.
A friend of mine had recommended Yoga Pod to me who had gone through something similar to what I’m currently going through. She mentioned it had become her second home. After two sessions, I can see why. Last night in particular I walked in with the weight of the world on my shoulders. When I left, the weight was still there but no longer felt heavy. I highly recommend Yoga Pod for stress relief. Yes there are the physical health benefits, but Yoga & personal meditation are the only two things that have helped me through my current adversity. As an added bonus, I was T-boned in a car accident back in 2016. It’s been an ongoing work in progress, but I finally have my range of motion in my left shoulder/scapular area to around 85-90%. In just two sessions, I get the impression I’m going to be able to increase the range of motion even further. I’m thankful for this business & definitely give it 5 stars. The two instructors I’ve had so far have both been top notch.
This studio was such a gem that I stumbled into on my travels while living in a van. Starting from the first sign in, the front desk staff were welcoming. YogaPod's schedule was always full of classes. Over time you start to know everyone by name and get to know others over time. After a month of daily yoga, I signed up for the yin teacher training with Daisy. My very first yoga training and I learned so much about the poses and my body that will forever deepen my practice. My "few days in Gainesville" become 2 months before I knew it and this studio is one of the main factors for this decision. It was exactly what was needed for me in that moment. This was months ago now, and I still think about the memories that were made here to this day. It really is a special studio that attracts the nicest humans to the space. I cannot wait to walk back into a Yoga Pod studio and be greeted by all of my smiling friends again.
