I have never been let down by this salon! 11/10, the best haircut experience every time. I’ve been coming here on and off for years, and every stylist I’ve worked with has been wonderful. This time I booked with Danny. He’s kind, talented and genuinely passionate about what he does. You can see it in his work and the way he treats his clients. I had such a great time chatting and laughing with him and the stylists in the nearby booths. I've been meaning to write a review for weeks but keep forgetting. I made my appointment for highlights because I didn't know what I needed in order to fix the issue I had. I had used Color Oops at home to remove some red hair dye, and then put an ash blonde over it and the results were HORRENDOUS! The staff at JC Penney salon were very attentive in trying to explain to me what needed to happen to fix it and still remain within my budget. Erika was the one who wound up coloring my hair the most beautiful copper red color and also gave me a treatment to make sure my hair didn't over dry. My experience here at the salon was great, everyone was very welcoming and accommodating to my son who had to join me. Erika was very sweet and personable but im sad with how my hair turned out. I asked for a chocolate brown and my hair was dyed black and I was told it will calm down after a few washes. It’s almost a month later and my hair is still jet black :( I also requested that she thin my hair and sadly she did not and now im left with a thick and bushy cut I have to deal with.
