I am a student who attends the University of Florida, and I had been searching for a place that cuts male Asian hair well. I've experimented with many within the area, but none quite match the level of care and expertise that Technique by Yen offers. I've been a happy patron for well over a year, and I can say with confidence that she is consistent, quick, and exact. It's really easy to strike up conversation with her, and by the end of one haircut, you'll be able to consider her a friend. She always greets and leaves me with a smile whenever I return and depart. Although one may argue that the price is high, it is definitely worth it with everything considered.
I am very picky about my hair but she managed to give me exactly what I was looking for. She is very gentle and careful; she really does take the time to make sure you're happy with the results. Definitely recommend her.
Yen is AMAZING. I went in yesterday for a cut for some seriously neglected hair. She is not just a stylist, she is a magician! She gave me EXACTLY what I asked for... My friend and I had such a nice time talking with Yen, and my friend loved the cut so much she will be in to get hers done there from now on. I cannot say enough good things about this place. You will get a high end haircut for a very reasonable price. I am so happy, this is the best haircut I have ever had. Many thanks Yen, I am looking forward to doing my coloring with you!!
