I hadn't picked up my digital camera in years before taking the course with PurpleFly Photography. I'm so happy I dragged it out of the closet and signed up for the course! I learned so much about the big three camera settings - ISO, aperture, and shutter speed - and even more about composition elements that separate merely good from really great photographs. What made this course a stand-out, though, was the opportunity to go on a photo shoot with the instructor. I got to see the world through her eyes (and camera lens). We hired Nancy - PurpleFly Photography - for my mom's 80th birthday celebration through a recommendation via the Gainesville Area Women's Network, and, BOY! Did she deliver so many joyful photos to remember the evening with, and ahead of her promised delivery date. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat to fulfill my portrait wishes! Nancy is not only an amazing photographer, but makes her shoots fun! I got my senior photos done with Nancy, and I'm so happy with the product! She did such an amazing job making me feel comfortable during the shoot, and I had a blast having the opportunity to have her take my photos.
