Overall process was very smooth, and the quality of the work was good. However, I am a little underwhelmed by the performance of the system. I was looking for more of a true backup/off grid system and got more of a grid assist. For the price tag of $90k, I expected a bit more, but that isn't anything PPM is at fault for. Also, the start date was about 2 months late which was a bummer, but overall, I am happy with the service and would like to continue business with them when I decide to expand my system.
I didn't get PPM to install my solar panels. BAD MOVE! The company went out of business literally the day after they installed my panels and never even applied for a permit to install. My finance company hired someone to finish the project, but I was told they only had one person in Florida authorized to work for them, and he was in Miami.
PPM Solar came in and saved the day. It turned out the installers did an excellent job, so they only had to do an inspection and fill out all the paperwork. They easily could have taken me for a ride and billed me for hours of unnecessary repairs, but they were honest - and that really impressed me. The whole thing took...read full review
The office staff, technician, electrician, engineers and installer are all hard working and efficient. They take steps to change the installation to car port and shed metal roof as my main building's metal roof was covered by shingles in an unusual way which is not suitable to put solar panels.
