My husband and I had appointments conveniently made for a Saturday (thanks for that) everyone was super helpful and courteous! They also fit our grandkids in for walk in appointments right then. I will certainly return to this location. Thank you all for your professionalism.

If you are looking to get an exam and pick your glasses up locally I highly suggest Optical Outlets. Even though their pricing has went up since the last time I was here 2 pairs of glasses and an exam for $99 is still a good deal. Especially since they don’t try to slip in upgrades. They ask you if you’d like certain things added on and if you say no they leave it at that. No hard sell which is a major factor in if I’d be back. I usually walked out of here with 2 pairs of glasses for under $150.
If you think MyEyeLab’s deal is cheaper. It’s not. Their 2 for $59 ends up to be $400+ after they add in the lenses and add ons the doctor “recommends”. Optical... read full review

I recently visited Optical Outlet in Gainesville for an eye exam and new glasses. The doctor was professional, the place is clean and as a walk-in, i didn’t really wait much.
My prescription is on the higher side (+6 range), so lens thickness and comfort are extremely important to me. Unfortunately, the lenses I received were much thicker and heavier than what I had expected, even after specifically requesting thin, with anti-reflective and transitional coatings. They were uncomfortable and not wearable for me. As someone who pays out of pocket, the cost of nearly $500 was a significant expense for me, so realizing the lenses weren’t usable... read full review
