I used to go to Impact Computers, but they closed - I was nervous to try a new place. Well, I am so glad I did, because Martin was fantastic. He's smart and clearly knows computers inside and out. I walked right in and he made time for me. I don't want PC issues but when I inevitably have them in the future I'll be headed straight to Gainesville PC and Laptop Repair. :)
I went into the store with an old laptop both of us thought was toast, but Martin was able to get it fixed up for me within just a few hours! It's working great now with zero issues.
Very happy with the work. The only beef I have is when paying I asked the owner if he needed a check or if he accepted cards. He thought for a few seconds and said he preferred a card. What he didn't say was that he applied a 3% fee for the card use. I should have been told that at the time instead of finding out later when the receipt arrived later in my email.
