A Simply Unforgettable Party Shop offers a wide selection of party supplies and is known for being the largest party shop in the area. The store is well-organized with clear signage and ample aisles, making it easy to find what you need. Customers have noted friendly staff and a clean environment. The Gainesville location allows customers to try on costumes before purchase, a feature not available at other locations. While the shop boasts a good selection, some customers have found prices to be high compared to competitors like Walmart and Dollar Tree. Additionally, there have been reports of long wait times for balloon services.
Over priced. Went to buy a piñata they were $21 went to Walmart got a better built one for $14. The solo cups they sell 2 50 count for 9.99 at Walmart 3.49 per 50 pack. The plastic utensils ridiculously priced. Went to dollar tree $1.25
This store is the largest party shop compared to the other two shops located in my vicinity, Lady Lake, FL and Ocala, FL, A Simply Unforgettable Party Shop's other two locations.This shop compared to the one in Ocala, FL will allow you try on costumes over your clothes up to Halloween in veiw of the associates, in front of the costume wall. Once the hoilday has passed you can no longer try on costumes, at this particular shop. Compared to the one located in Ocala, FL. The Ocala party Shop will only hold the costume up to your body, which is a downfall, so the Gainesville location has a plus. This shop is clean and well supplied and depending which repersentive you receive is very accommodating. I would give the highest rating if I were allowed to try on costumes after the hoilday, while the clearance sales are happening, but since it is not, I will give a different rating.
I've visited here a few times, something weird happens where I've seen other shoppers just taking things off the shelves and leaving them around the store. Despite this seemingly frustrating phenomenon, the staff is very friendly and does an excellent job of cleaning up after you maniacs that do this.
