“I’ve generally had positive experiences at Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology in both Fort Walton Beach and Bluewater. However, both of the dermatologists I previously saw have left, and it seems like there’s a different medical assistant at nearly every visit. While I understand that change is inevitable, frequent staff turnover can be concerning and makes it harder to build continuity of care. “If you’re reading this looking for a derm who is going to care about your concerns and provide excellent care, I’d stop reading and just call to make the appointment. I have been dealing with a persistent skin issue for years and I have lost count of the number of healthcare professionals whom I visited with about it, who dismissed me and never diagnosed my condition. Not knowing what it was, I could never get anywhere with making it any better. I remember being very nervous before my first appointment, expecting the same outcome.
