About SAGE CDL Test Center
SAGE CDL Test Center is a Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles approved test center that offers CDL tests for truck drivers, including passenger and school bus endorsements. The tests can be taken with a customer's vehicle or a rental vehicle for an additional fee. A valid Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) and completion of an approved Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) course are required prior to testing. The SAGE CDL Test Center has received positive reviews from its students. Some have mentioned that the program provides all the necessary materials for success, but it requires hard work and dedication from the students. Instructors have been described as top-notch and knowledgeable, with a variety of experience in different facets of the trucking industry. The school offers 44 hours of actual one-on-one drive time in well-maintained trucks, giving students ample practice opportunities. However, there have been some complaints about the wait time between classroom and behind-the-wheel training, as well as the cost of retests if a student fails the test. The program director, Ruth, and Kathy in the office, have been praised for their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help students succeed. It is recommended that students communicate their needs and requirements and be prepared to work hard to succeed. The program is not easy and may not be suitable for everyone, so students should be honest with themselves about their limitations and commitment to the program. Overall, the SAGE CDL Test Center has been reviewed positively as one of the best CDL programs in Florida, with top-notch instructors and a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students to safely operate a tractor trailer.

If you fail your test at the end of your 11 scheduled drives, you will have to pay $175 for each retest you take. You will not be given another drive or practice time to square away any skills needed to pass the test, unlessYou pay $100 for every extra hour. Lastly, there was a little long of a wait between my test and retests. My recommendation: how bad do you want your CDL? This school gives you all the materials you need to succeed, but, they will not hold your hand and just give you...read full review
