The worst experience ever! We waited almost 5 months for these people to review our file and after sending several emails almost on a weekly basis the paralegal got back to us stating that our monthly payment would cost us over 3,000 or 4,400 per month for 5 years for Chapter 13 for a couple. We wish we knew what to expect from the beginning so we wouldn’t have wasted time and money. Definitely not people that will tell you upfront what to expect. Find someone else that at least will give you clear and upfront expectations from the beginning and you won’t spend $2,000 for nothing! At the end, the only people that made money was the lawyer. I would like to thank Mr. Cohen and his terrific staff for helping me tremendously in saving my home. The bank stopped working with me on a loan remodification when my wife lost her job. Mr. Cohen filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy and got the bank to come back to the table and renegotiated my loan with them. He got the bank to lower the interest rate and set me up with a lower payment that I can afford. Mr. Cohen is a good lawyer who really works hard for his client.
The lawyer, Brain Cohen, did a super job on our case, and his support staff is terrific too! They answer every phone call, respond promptly to emails, and did everything in our Chapter 13 case flawlesly from beginning to end, and we got approved by the judge quickly. I cannot recommend them enough! One more thing - and this comment from my wife... A secret crush maybe??) -"Mr. Cohen was the most professional-looking and most polished of all the lawyers in court on our hearing date". And I can say this without any hesitation that was indeed true.
