“I (Jana) went here on a whim referred by my husband (which doesn't have any tattoos go figure) that there was a tattoo shop 5 minutes from our house on 441 South of Davie Blvd behind the Subway. I went in wanting a cover up tattoo and had a really good idea on what I wanted to have. Walked in and the tattoo shop is very clean and everyone was very nice and willing to help me. Victor was standing in the front and greeted me and helped me the entire time. Went to his work station and discusses the design that I was looking to have on my arm. After the initial design was figured out it was drawn out on his tablet with all different sizes of butterflies that would work the best for the cover-up. He then printed out the design then placed over the cover-up. At that point asking me if I would like it done at that time and I said I sure would if you have the time. The cover-up tattoo as seen in the pictures below, a lot of the placement and sizes of butterflies, colors and shading was all left up to his discretion and Victor did a phenomenal job as seen in the photos. Victor is Highly Recommended in my book and might go back for more tattoos in the near future. A+++++“

“I was on vacation in Florida with some friends and one of my goals was to get a tattoo while I was there. After calling around and finding most shops fully booked, I came across this studio at the last minute and was lucky enough to work with Desmond Diamond.

I wasn't completely sure what I wanted, but Desmond helped me narrow down my ideas and find a piece that I absolutely love. He was professional and made the entire session enjoyable with his great sense of humor. He even recommended a few local spots to check out while I was in town.

“Had such a great first experience at Sweet Leaf with Margo.
Margo is respectful, very sweet and accommodating. Was in the mood to relieve some stress and get a few piercings done. Re-pierced a tragus, and got another brand new tragus. Jewelry options were very diverse. The studio was clean, and the process was quick and easy. I left feeling safe, satisfied and relaxed. Im so grateful that I was able to make an appointment same-day and I look forward to the next piercing experience at this studio.“

“I cannot praise this entire place and its immensely creative staff enough without it possibly seeming like I'm seeking some type of compensation in return; however, that is genuinely not the motivation for this review in the slightest. I have not been so excited and intrigued to get stabbed and get my skin filled with ink endlessly by some of the sweetest, most talented and humble humans in the South Florida area as a whole ... and just a good while (for me personally.)

The entire staff is extremely professional, empathetic, patient and truly amicable to ensure all clients as best of an experience for whatever service as humanly possible. So far, the only artist I have yet to meet is Joel. However, I can say that Tori, Nancy, Ana and Evgi and are all extremely meticulous over all the features and aspects of the tattoo and/or piercing process. Sterile equipment and proper cleaning methods happen to ensure safety and minimize any room for any possible health bumps along the way. Clear communication exists the entire way through, from booking, midway through the needle stabs all the way through the skin shedding segment: They're all available for any clarification whatever other inquiries someone might have. I felt safe, seen and free to do something (as simple but annoying as randomly ramble) and curse without judgmental glares and criticism. But I'd be lying if I didn't say that I never thought I would be emphasizing the value of safety and security, considering the disturbing times that we're living in this deplorable, narrowminded and sick episode of societal and political regression. Everyone there has an ample years of experience that speaks on its own, so anyone is in great hands regardless of their chosen artist based on the desired tattoo style. Therefore this means that pricing for all the work is very fair and reasonable.

For my work, Nancy has been nothing short of incredible and seamless. She doesn't compromise on the quality and precision of her work despite the insane speed at which she tattoos.

A bonus part to add to this whole rant is having recently attended their Friday the 13th (for Valentine's) flash event. All components of the day were awesome. The sweet treats, the goody bags, the extra art on sale as well as the decor for some added pizzazz to the ambiance. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Like I said, I’m not really a tattoo person, but his are lovely so I went on his recommendation. I’m so glad I did. I had no idea what to expect, but Gigi talked me through the process with kindness and warmth. I had fully expected it to be painful, but I was surprised at how much less the discomfort was. I’d say on a scale of 1-10, the pain level was a three. It was a simple piece, so that may be part of it, but i definitely recommend any other first-timer to seek out Gigi.
