Not only did I find the 1 1/2-hour segments more practical (a student can only process so much!), her straightforward and professional manner allowed her to play the role of instructor far more effectively. In fact, our student commented that he had learned more, under Janine's instruction (two, 1 1/2-hour classes), than from his previous classes (two, 3-hour sessions).
