This so-called medical center is dysfunctional, disorganized, and manipulative. I have had well-documented dental issues for years, with chronic abscesses and infections. Even though my dental issues stem from medication, dental is considered cosmetic. I called in for a prescription of antibiotics so my heart and artificial hips are not affected, I am "required" to come in for a office visit. Nothing like bilking Medicare and my insurance for an unnecessary visit and a waste of my time, my doctor is off vacationing in Texas, I've had the infection for days, it wouldn't be until next week before I could be seen. I scheduled my appointment almost a week in advance because I live about 45 mins away from Fort Lauderdale. I get there and the office is closed and locked. No contact information in sight, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIMEUPDATE: A representative named Sacha called me today to explain that there was a mishap with scheduling, and she was able to find me a treatment facility that is closer to where I live, and sooner than expected. I am very thankful to have received such a compassionate and timely resolve to this issue. Her apology was very sincere and I felt a genuine concern for my health and well-being.
