Broward Health (Imperial Point) receives mixed reviews. One patient is happy with care and finds everyone nice, especially the Infectious disease doctor. Another reviewer describes communication with staff as meager, reporting a broken toe was initially dismissed and pain management updates were lacking. In contrast, another visitor had the best experience ever, praising staff members Jodi and Edna for making the visit over the top.
My son is currently a patient here. He has autism is twenty eight years old and is sufferinga mental health crisis. Communication with staff here is meager at best. I found out last night my son has a broken toe after they told me that it was fine. That he could wiggle it. Here it is about 10 hours after they confirmed with an x ray that it is broken and no updates on the notes whether or not he has been given something more substantial for the pain than tylenol. This is not okay. My son has rights. Beginning to wonder what hospitals are for when honestly, sometimes all they seem to be doing is imprison...
