Dr. Marilyn Tobey and the staff of Floral City Veterinary Hospital are wonderful! I came to them at the recommendation of my sister. Prior to going there, my fur babies received all of their veterinary care at Humane Society of Tampa Bay, from where they were adopted. The difference in the care received can't be overstated. From our first visit when my 10 year old baby girl was suspected of having lymphoma to the last visit at the end of her battle, we received such loving care from Dr. Tobey and her staff. This companion animal hospital is located on Orange Avenue at the NE corner of Florida Ave (SR41). Free customer parking is located in the back, which you reach from the Florida Ave vehicle entrance. Dr Tobey is the owner and veterinarian. She has several vet techs assisting her with the pet patients. This is not a large practice like you might find in Tampa, but it is still able to provide most routine veterinary care services. Dr Tobey is very compassionate towards her pet patients. We went to Floral City Veterinary Hospital for the first time this past Friday. We were so pleased with our visit. We were able to get an appointment within a week and their receptionist Pauline was so nice and welcoming. Their vet tech, Max, was very impressive. He was extremely professional, thorough, and caring with our golden babies. They took their time to ensure all our needs were met and questions were answered. I really liked how they completed all testing and procedures in the room with us instead of taking them out of the room like most vet’s offices these days.
