Best massage I've ever had --- at a great price. The Spa at the Amelia Island Plantation quoted 3x the cost for the same time. And there's no way the quality could have matched Don. We'll be back every time we go to AI.

i am a female, mid 60's, who was visiting Amelia Island from out of state and am well versed in massage techniques, as i get one once a month in my home state. my tendency, out of availability, is to be massaged by a woman. i had an hour massage with Don, who is part owner with his wife. Don's technique of massage was excellent! he is very knowledgable in the health field and welcomes any questions and health concerns that you may have. he also uses sound therapy, playing the deeper sounds of music while you are massaged. i have arthritis in my neck, lower spine, hip areas and scoliosis. hand traction is very beneficial for me. Don addressed my problems in the massage and his hand traction and pressure was great, similar to pulling "taffy". this technique may not be for everyone, but then again you are in charge of the pressure your therapist uses and what method you need. the healing center is clean, staff is very friendly and the massage room was large and very calming. highly recommended:)

I am in town staying at a resort and was planning on getting a couples massage. I know it is wasn't going to be cheap and was cool with that, but it was over 4 hundo!!! Luckily I drove past this place. - the people are soooo nice -I got my best massage ever (TY, Don)!! -I actually enjoyed it because I knew it was worth every penny Plus, it's nice to shop small and Support these great people.
