We really enjoyed our experience with Edgewater CrossFit so far! All of the coaches are wonderful to work with and are really nice and helpful. This was our first time doing CrossFit and the classes were challenging and pushed us to our limits. We are happy with the progress that we’ve made so far. The other people in the classes are fun to workout with and get to know. We would recommend giving it a try to anyone who wants to improve their fitness or try CrossFit!

I suggest signing up for the class if you need accountability to get to the gym if you’re just starting out. It helps with consistency feeling like you have to be there. It is a great way to get in shape and build some muscle while you’re at it. You can modify all exercises and if you don’t know how, ask! It is challenging but it’s supposed to be! It’s you against you but you’re with the group. If you are the last to finish or feel like you’re slowing down, classmates will encourage you or even jump in and do your last sets with you as motivation to finish strong and so you’re not on your own.

Been 7 years away from CrossFit so was hesitant to dive back into it, but I’m so glad I did! Becky and John both are amazing coaches and do a great job of scaling the workouts to make sure I’m being challenged, but also don’t hurt my bad knees and shoulders! The community that joins the classes are also so friendly and fun, even at 5:30 in the morning ?
