Coastal Family Practice is a highly recommended primary care provider where good doctors are hard to find. Patients report that the doctors and physician assistants are awesome, spend the time every patient deserves, and address every problem. Prescriptions are sent quickly and calls are returned. The office is known for being helpful and polite, with no overbooking and minimal waiting. However, some concerns exist regarding office staff management and communication for referrals.
If your looking for a PCP, look no further. I live in Deltona, and drive 35 miles to see Dr. Buchanan. Good doctors are hard to find. I'd drive twice the distance if I had to. I've been seeing her for over 6 years. She's one of the few doctors that spends the time every patient deserves. You're never rushed through a visit. She addresses every problem old and new. You won't find a better doctor anywhere. Everybody at this office is always helpful and polite. They never overbook patients . No waiting. 10 minutes, 15 tops.
Been my GP for years, Dr Fredette is my primary but I’ve seen the PA shelly as well and they are both awesome. If I have any kind of issue they take care of it, and they actually call back and send prescriptions quickly.
Dr Buchannan is a good Dr but wish her office staff were better managed. Would call to ask for a referral from one of the assistants that answer ther phone responding to my request like a Gestapo. Once the referral went through I get a call from two different Dr offices. I could go on and on about some other matters. If this continues to go on I would hate to change Dr office
