“I got my first few cuts from Jamie at Barely and Main, then went the cheaper route for a while thinking I was being smart with my money. What I figured out is cheap haircuts usually are not cheap in the long run. A cut that is off only gets worse as it grows out, and then you are back in the chair sooner than you planned just trying to clean it up. After doing the math, I realized I was spending about the same anyway.

The difference with Jamie is you can see the work he puts into the cut. It is not just about how it looks the day you leave. His cuts grow out right, hold their shape, and still look good weeks later. I get compliments well after the haircut, which tells you everything you need to know about the quality and the value. That is what makes it worth it to me.

On top of that, the atmosphere at Barely and Main is hard to beat. Good vibe, good people, and getting handed a spirit when you sit down does not hurt either. Jamie does great work, takes pride in it, and it shows. Money well spent every time.“
