The Rick Smith Golf Performance Center offers exceptional golf instruction and a welcoming atmosphere. Instructors provide personalized lessons, identifying root causes of swing flaws and offering tools and understanding to correct them. Rick and his team are fantastic, knowledgeable, calm, and encouraging. They create a fun and enjoyable learning experience with clear explanation and analysis. The staff is composed of caring individuals who go above and beyond. With a focus on improving golf performance, this center is a highly recommended destination for golfers of all levels.
We recently went to a 2 day school with Rick, Nick Zappin, Steven Cox, and Billy (could not find his last name). Rick and his team were fantastic. All of the gentlemen are knowledgeable, calm, and encouraging. Rick's vast experience enables him to modify his lessons to each individual person. Everyone has some type of limitations or injuries that come into playing golf. Rick spends one on one time with everyone. Our group had 11 people over the 2 days with 3 stations. Could not be happier with the results, and we are very thankful and grateful to Rick and his team. If you love golf at any skill level, we would highly recommend working with Rick!! So I had watched a lot of Rick Smith videos before signing up for his Golf Academy through Performance Golf. Actually I didn't know what school they were going to recommend so i was very pleasantly surprised when it was Rick Smith Academy. But I didn't expect Rick Smith to be there the entire time. On top of that, we was highly engaged, very attentive and has a real joy in teaching high handicappers like me.
The other coaches were Nick Zappin, Julio Vegas and Jordan Thomas. EVERY one of these was was outstanding. Now that I am home, I am practicing different and the notes I took as well as the videos they sent afterward have been extremely helpful.

Gayle is the GOAT when it comes to golf instructors. We’ve had 6 lessons together so far and he has truly helped me on my goal of becoming a single digit handicap. He observes, corrects, teaches and explains everything from grip, to swing, to contact to follow through. AND he makes it all so fun and enjoyable. I truly look forward to our weekly lesson.
