While the front desk staff may not be the friendliest, Dr. Segal is gentle, thorough, and competent in his exams. His office also features an optical department with a nice selection of frames, although prices may be steep for out-of-pocket payments. Overall, Dr. Segal's expertise and care have earned him high praise from patients, who highly recommend his office for ophthalmology needs.
Dr. Segal is an amazing doctor. 3 days before thanksgiving I had a tear in my retina. Dr. Segal was very concerned and said I needed a retina specialist for possible laser surgery immediately. His office immediately went to work to find someone that accepted my insurance and could get me in right away. When his receptionist had to leave to lunch Dr. Segal himself started making calls to find someone. He was able to get me in that day to a top laser specialist and I did indeed need laser surgery immediately. Without Dr Segal care and concern my retina could have very likely detached.

I have been to so many Opthamologists over the years and I have never met a doctor who cares more, who has more patients to discuss one's issues and who knows everything there is to know about eyes. There are not enough stars to epitomize Doctor Dr. Segal's practice
